I took part in a sailing cruise with the saltyboys in Croatia in july 2026. At first i was a bit anxious being a somewhat older gay man (59 years old) and without a lot of experience with being nude among other gay men. My initial fear of not being accepted turned out to be not necessary. Skipper Jan is a wonderful man keeping an eye on all aboard and managing te create a safe and warm and sexy relaxed atmosphere while also keeping everybody safe with his huge sailing knowledge and experience. We sailed with two ships, ours had a chef on board who found a perfect balance between taking care with really good and tasty food and making use of help of the people on board. I think no one ever had to be urged to help, it just went very smooth. If i have to mention something a bit les positive it would be that we didn’t really sail that much. This was because of lack of wind, and not really a choice if we wanted to get to different destinations.
The skipper on the other ship was also a very sociable man with great knowledge of weather and with beautiful smile that i imagine even persisted in his sleep.
All in all i had a wonderful week with nice encounters with a very varied group of people. If you like to meet new people, enjoy nature, love a relaxed and sexy atmosphere i would say a Saltyboys trip is highly recommended.... Collapse
