After a water-full childhood on the Dutch waters, followed by many years of sailing on international seas, next to his job as architect and product designer, Jan founded Saltyboys Sailing Cruises. Becoming such a Saltyboy is no surprise being a grandson of Adriaan van der Klooster, captain of Northsea rescue vessel Prins der Nederlanden in the Hook of Holland. Saltyboys Sailing Cruises are about sharing the pleasures of sailing in good international company, experiencing the world from a most delightful point of view.

Jan, thanks so much for a fantastic sailing adventure in September in Croatia. I came with very few expectations, just looking for a relaxing getaway. During the week, I made some fantastic new friends after sharing a close connection.
